Have a great weekend! I just learned this morning that the Friday morning before Thanksgiving is the best time to go to the grocery store before the big day. Otherwise, you might have a meltdown with the other 2 million shoppers in your local store. Um... I think I missed that window of opportunity. Meltdown here I come.
Wow, we finally made it! Today we finish up our 12 Days of Christmas. With Day #13. Next year we promise to have better math. But this year, too many ideas and not enough days. Even so many ideas, that we could have actually had 15 Days of Christmas. Because we have 3 things to show you today.
The three products are all related- we call them our "Countdown" projects. There are so many ways to count down the Days in December- we have done many of them in past years, but here are our latest.
First is our "25 Stars".
The idea behind these is to make a star ornament for each day in December and then hang them on the tree on the corresponding day. We wanted to have a tree for the picture, but we just ran out of time. But I'm sure you can imagine it! I can't wait to show these to my 13 year old niece. She is one of those girls who is really into "bling". Jewelry, hair accessories, but mostly, bling on her jeans. I think she may even like these.
The kit comes with the fabric and this adorable number label sheet (glitter is not included).
Next, we have another new "Little Ink Swatch". This one is chalkboard inspired with those same cute numbers.
What did we make with them? Cute little countdown bags- just the right size for a cute little gift or piece of candy each day in December.
An extra bonus is that each canvas sheet has an extra image at the bottom (Merry & Bright and Peace, Love, Joy) to use on whatever you want.
We have the entire kit available- with the 2 canvas screen printed sheets, fabric and ribbon- or you can get just the canvas screen printed sheets and use fabric you already have. Each bag measures 4" x 5" when they are finished- so you might have scraps of various fabric already in your stash.
And the final way to Countdown to Christmas. This one is the easiest. No sewing involved. We have a chalkboard inspired carvas print:
You can actually use chalk to mark off the days. You can then use a chalkboard eraser or damp cloth to erase the chalk. It comes in 8" x 10" or 16" x 20". You can either frame it or just hang it on a bulletin board.

It is already Day #12 of our 12 Days of Christmas. But as I said yesterday, this year we actually have 13 days! This is definitely one of my favorites. We are celebrating one of our favorite colors. Red. Specifically, Christmas Red. Here are our Christmas Red Pillows.
The pillows were made with one of our new "Ink Swatches". We cut this one in four sections:
If you would like to make the pillows, the ink swatch and the fabric are in separate listings. That way, you can choose which fabric you would like. The instructions to make the pillows are included with every ink swatch order- there is no need to purchase an additional pattern. You can find everything here.

Happy Monday! There is soooo much going on here today. First of all, it's Monday. Which is always our busiest day here. Secondly, we know many of you are waiting for our next post of our 12 Days of Christmas. We will get to that. But first, let's have a little lemonade.

All of the quilts they made are gorgeous. But we do have a favorite. Of course, we are just a little biased. See the one second from the right. Yep. That one is made from our Wishes collection. And since it is a baby-sized quilt, we think Wishes is perfect. Not only do the colors fit a boy or girl, Wishes just seems to fit a baby. You know, because you have so many "wishes" for the new baby. Get it?
We even made our own quilt from the Layer Cake Lemonade pattern. Here is our version:

Now...for the 11th day of our 12 Days of Christmas. Well, we actually have a surprise for you. This year there isn't 12 Days of Christmas. There are 13! We kind of messed up on our addition- we ended up with one more project than we had days, so we now have a baker's dozen.
Today is for all of you non-sewers out there. And we know there are more than a few of you. We thought it would be fun to design some kitchen towels you can just give- to yourself or someone else- without the stress of making something. So we are taking a teeny, tiny little break from sewing with these fun kitchen towels.
The first one is all about Christmas (you can click on the picture to make it bigger).
The second one is something you can have out even after Christmas. Or maybe give it as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving next week. Which got me thinking. My sister is hosting Thanksgiving. It would be kind of funny to wrap up a towel she designed. Ha ha. Maybe I will.
So here is the deal. You can buy one towel for $7.50, but if you get one of each, they are $6.00 each. Now think of how many people you can get one for- the mail woman, your Aunt Sophie who has everything else, your sister who is hosting Thanksgiving. You can find them here.

It's Friday! And we are having one more....
Snowman Day!
This time, it features this guy.
And we thought he was so cute, we couldn't just put him on one thing. First, we put him on our ruffle kitchen towel (we know many of you have made oodles of these, so why not one more?):
Then we thought the label would be adorable framed. We just adhered it to a 5" x 7" piece of fabric.
Then, of course I had to make it personalized. In fact, my little boy has been bugging me about it all week. He decided, (all by himself) that he wanted a snowman tag to put on his "Santa Bag" that he chose a couple of days ago:
And about that green hat. You will notice that in the "brr...cold" design, the snowman doesn't have a hat. Well, Cash came up behind me while I was designing the snowman. He pointed to the computer and asked "Where is his hair?". Hair? I have never seen a snowman with hair. So after a couple minutes of negotiating, I talked him into a hat. And he was great with that. And after I printed it, I kind of liked the hat, too. So if you want a personalized label, it will have a green hat. Unless you don't want it. We are all about choices!
Finally, we used the image to make a canvas print. They come in either 8" x 10 or go big and get a 16" x 20". You can go with the "brr...cold" or get a name or word printed at the bottom instead. Cash is getting a 16" x 20" with his name for his room. Remember a couple of days ago when I told you my dream about decorating every room in the house for the holidays, like a Pottery Barn catalog? And that I could only get these pillowcases done?
Well, now I have two things! It's all coming together. Maybe in about 10 years I will have it completed!'

Be Merry! That is the theme for today. Here is our "Be Merry Basket":
We have had this basket made for a few weeks now and it is now the place we collect all those holiday catalogs everyone seems to receive this time of year.
I'm sure you can think of about a zillion uses for this project, but i love the idea of wrapping up a quilt in this. So if you are making a quilt for someone this holiday season, think how cute it would be rolled up in this! I, unfortunately, problably won't get that accomplished. But I can dream about it, right?

Yesterday was snowman day, but today is all about trees! And you don't even need a sewing machine. Yep, these cuties were all assembled by hand.
The kit includes enough fabric, ribbon, twill and labels to create 12 trees. There are endless possibilities for these- on the tree, string several for a "tree bunting", put them on gifts or use them as party favors. Even let your kids help- they will love creating their own!

Yes, I know we are a little late today. But better late than never, right? Besides, I am so excited about today's project I'm going to give us a pass on the lateness of it. I've been wanting to make one of these for a long time. And today, it is finally finished! In fact, 2 are finished. We call them "Santa Bags".
I think my little boy might be even more excited than I am. He actually had a mini-meltdown about them. He first saw the "Wish Big" bag and decided he had to have it. He was definitely taking it home so Santa can fill it up. Then about an hour later, we finished the "Express Delivery" one and now he is so confused. He can't decide which one he likes best. And it is causing a real problem. Decisions decsions.
I'm pretty sure he will go with the "Wish Big", since his name tag is already on it.
