Thank you so much to everyone who left a comment about our new Hometown fabric line! We appreciate all of your kind words!! Look for this fabric to come out early this fall. We hope you like it as much as we do - we are very excited for this line. I am sure you are wanting to know this - THE WINNER of the Hometown fabric. So lucky Crisanne D. is our winner! She wrote -
I am so excited for Hometown! This shade of red is PERFECT! And the blue complements it so well! I have four boys, and have learned that nothing frilly is truly acceptable in our home. This fabric line will give me just what I want, and they have nothing to be opposed to!
Crisanne e-mail us with your mailing address and we will send you your very own Hometown fabric!
On another note for those of you who have subscribed to our label crew, the april apron kits are now available on etsy. We have both a yellow kit and a gray kit.
Michelle, i think I can answer your ? about bib trim...when you open the trifold pattern there is a pattern piece that says Apron Bib-Cut 2. Look to left and it says place on fold where there is a dotted line. Notice the curve...that is the neckline. Place on fold and opened up it is the bib trim. Opened up it measures 11 inces wide, sames as bib bottom part (9 1/2 x 11, also cut 2)I traced that diagram for the bib trim...I think they just forgot to put full label on it. Remember to cut 2, same as you did for bib piece because it is its own lining. HTH

My husband is excited about the fabric - that the town made it - he has fond memories about meeting you guys (The first sweet retreat in 2005?) and loving your hometown of FC as well.
Congrats to Crisanne. I agree on the colors as well. No frilly at our house either.
I am a very beginner sewing (only staples for me) and have ever label crew label so far and yet to try - I am praying the last week of April I can try. The bottom of the bags are the only thing making me nervous (circle and all other shapes, lol.)

Congrats Crisanne...if for some reason you don't have any room for your fabric, I would be more than happy to take it off your hands heehee :-)
Sweetwater ladies: I have a question about the apron pattern...what size is the trim on the bib? Did I miss it somewhere? I think I'm going to have to make a couple for Mother's Day Gifts!! Thanks

Love being part of your label crew - what a great idea you had in starting that! My real question though is this: When can I get my hands on some of that Hometown fabric, and where do I find it? LOVE IT!

Concgratulations to Crisanne! I'm sure you'll have a blast making something from your Hometown prize.
I got my labels for Label Crew in the mail today, another great job girls. I had already ordered me lots of Sunshine to make at least 1/2 dozen aprons...guess what my DD's and DDil are getting for Mother's Day. I'll make some gift bags from the Bucket pattern and have the grandkids put the aprons in and make cards...I'll show them my labels for some inspiration. I can't wait to start.
