You may be wondering what is roaritis????? I was wondering the same thing when my daughter told me I had it! The first time my daughter diagnosed me with roaritis was a few years ago when I lost my voice. We were sitting at the supper table and I was having trouble talking. She looked at me and said, " Mommy you have roaritis!". I looked at her and in my little squeeky voice I said, "What?" She said, "Can you roar like a lion?" I shook my head no and she said then you have roaritis! How clever she is! So from now on when ever I lose my voice or any one in my family loses their voice they have roaritis. This is one of the many things that I am thankful for this Thanksgiving. Not my roaritis - But funny things my kids say that make me laugh! What is one thing that you are thankful for?? Leave a comment after this post and let us know. You will be entered into our contest to win a free kit for Day 10 of our 12 days of Christmas series. Day 10 happens to be this fun Christmas wreath -
The wreath measures 10" in diameter For more information on this kit you can check it out here. Don't forget to leave us a comment about what you are thankful for. We will announce the winner on Wednesday!

I am thankful for the doctors who had the skills to repair my son's heart and other medical problems. I am blessed to have two wonderful but differnt sons, one a sucessful business man and one a sucessful young boy with Down Syndrome. Both have brought much joy in my life.

Of course, who isn't thankful for their family but this year I'm extremely thankful for my hubby. We have decided that I don't have to go back to work til the new year (granted I do have a couple of things in the pipeline) but I don't have to go to a temp agency until the new year....he really is a great guy and I'm so thankful for having him in my life for the last 12 years! Of course I'm also thankful for my handful of a 17 1/2 month old also who keeps me on my toes...love you sweetwater!!

I am thankful that my family can stay connected even when we live from coast to coast and in between. Computers and the Internet have become a wondeful tool for us to stay In touch and still be a part of each other's lives despite the distances. Like the video I just watched of my 8 month old great nephew "dancing" to his daddy's guitar playing and his mommy's encouraging voice. Too cute!

Family.
Always family.
Even when they are crazy & annoying & I can't believe they are mine. When we can come together & share time & stories - even the ones we've all heard a million times - we laugh & love & just be.
So thankful they are who they are & I get to be apart of that.
