Just want to share how much fun I had on my Birthday Sunday. I decided since is was a big one I would invite my friends to stay at Sweetwater House and help me celebrate. The weather here in Colorado has been so beautiful and warm that we were able to sit out under the gazebo and light the fire pit. Of course we ate wonderful food, brought by everyone to share. One friend (Sue) composed a song about me sung to the tune of "You are my Sunshine". She is quite talented and it was so funny.
I put together a "Birthday Book" kit for everyone to make. Only two in the group are scrapbookers so it was fun teaching them a little about using paper. They are really dedicated quilters so paper is not really their favorite medium. They were good sports about trying though.
Sweetwater House is a great place to gather with friends and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with mine. Thanks for all the fun! -------Karla
