We were very fortunate to have LaNora and Peg from Iowa come visit us for one of our weekend retreats. They were so fun to be around and it was great getting to know them. Here they are completing one of their projects from the weekend.

This has to be one of my favorite rooms in the whole house. We have 2 tables in the room that can be made larger to seat 16 people. I just love the brick wall and we found this cute flower mirror to hang on it.
Sorry about the poor photo, you need to see it in person to really appreciate it! The Rockies are playing right now - I am not much of a fan. But, my sister in the other room is so EXCITED!!
For anyone interested in coming to a class at Sweetwater House and not spending the night, we will be offering Saturday classes. Each class costs $35 and includes materials for the mini album featured and a yummy lunch! The classes are posted on our website www.sweetwaterscrapbook.com under Saturdays at Sweetwater House. The upcoming class is called "All About Me". It will be October 12th starting at 12:30. Sign up on our website if you are interested.
We wanted to share with you a picture of the crop room at the house (that is the reason you come, right!!) There is space for 15. The tables are a little higher so that if you prefer to scrapbook standing up or sitting down, it should be comfortable for everyone.
These three wreaths hang on one of the walls in the cropping room. The cropping room was originally 2 seperate rooms that we opened up to make one larger room. We are starting to send out order from Memory Trends, be looking at your local scrapbook store for our new products!
We had our first retreat this past weekend and had such a great time with Katie and Tina.
They were so fun to be around!
They had the whole place to themselves and were able to get a lot of scrapbooking done. Thanks so much Katie and Tina for spending last weekend with us!
Katie and Tina left on Saturday and I had told the kids that after the house was done that we could spend a night at the house and just have fun! This past summer everytime we went to the house it was always work, work, work! So, we thought they might actually have fun at the house for once. I havn't ever lived in town so I was so amazed at how convenient some things are (going to the grocery store for a few items only takes 10 total minutes, we walked to the movie, we even walked to church on Sunday morning). Here is a picture at bed time -
