Old School + A Contest

With e-mail, texting, twitter and facebook, does anyone ever write anymore?  I've just received 2 party invitaions by e-mail this week plus a save the date for a wedding.  Don't get me wrong, I love technology- but I remember when I was little, one of the best parts of the day was walking out to the mailbox to see if we had anything "fun" in the mail.  Which is why I love these:

 

We took a few of our canvas art print designs and had them printed on stationery. 

 
 
 

These little cards are perfect for babies, weddings, house warming gifts or just to send to your favorite quilting friend.  They also look really cute framed on a shelf.  They come in a set of 5 (1 of each design) and are available on our Etsy site now.

New News, New News!

1.  We are in a book - Countown Calendars to be exact!  This is a fun book from CT Publishing. So the big joke -

at our house is my flowers.  I always have high hopes every year.  I so desire to have beautiful, abundant pots of flowers scattered throughout my yard.  And everyone in my family knows that by the time July 4th rolls around all that will be left of my flowers are just brown stems sticking out of the pots.  This year, will be different!!!!!!

My wonderful husband hooked them up to an automatic watering system - Thanks Honey!
In my defense I know they need water, but it just didn't always get done on a timely manner. 
Now only one thing to contend with - THE WIND!
 
 See this little flower - it has been beat to death by the wind.  Sorry little flower I can't control the wind!  I am just hoping and praying for some nice calm no wind days!

The one thing that is no joke is that Christmas is coming - only 6 more months left!!!  So we want you to be prepared!  We have listed our Countdown to Christmas patterns and precuts on etsy - go ahead get a step ahead for Christmas!

Eleven.

Eleven years ago my favorite girl in the whole world was born.  Eleven years goes by so fast.  In eleven more years, she will be 22.  Please let the next eleven go by more slowly. 

 

Jordan celebrated her birthday last weekend with her favorite activity- showing livestock.  And since watching her is my favorite activity, it was one great birthday.

 

We know we haven't posted for a while.  Sorry!  Summer has taken over here.  Playing with the kids, Bible School, swimming, and designing another fabric collection!  Can't give you any details, but this one is all about fun!

And...we have our Label Crew project sneak peek.  So many of you have been asking for the house pincushion pattern.  Well, here it is as a Label Crew project!  In July, you will be receiving the pattern and labels for this:

Wow!!!

The first week on Facebook- not so bad!  Thank you to everyone who "liked" us.  Now I'm just trying to figure out what we will do with it besides alerting you to our blog posts.  We have a few ideas and so appreciate all your tips!  Now to the winner of the charms:
