I just want you to know that I've made this cake twice since I read this post and it is SO good. Too good. It goes down way too easy . . . and the last cake was eaten by 3 people in less than 24 hours. Oops! I just wanted to say thanks for sharing the recipe. I think it's going to become a new classic in our house. And for anyone trolling the comments looking for feedback, I wanted to put it out there that I made it with whole wheat flour and light butter (since I had it on hand) and it tastes great. It's probably even more great making it with regular butter and flour, but I'll stick with the alternative since it still tastes good and I don't have to feel SO guilty about a bit of over-indulging. :) At least that's how I rationalize it. LOL.

I just stumbled onto your website, immediately bookmarked it and will be back to read previous posts. LUV IT!!!

Just found your site - I love it!!! I will be back again and again and again!

Just came across your site today - was actually playing with my Make Life fabric yesterday and would love some Sweetwater goodies!

Oh my, oh my, oh my!!!! Am I too late. In my excitement to leave a comment I forgot to check the date for comments. I don't know what I'm more excited about, leaving a comment or the fact that I found out you have a blog. I've been out of touch with the quilting community for sometime now due to health issues so I didn't even know you had a blog. How excviting for me. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your fabric lines. I've bought every last one of them and I honestly can't say I have a favorite. They are all fantastic!!! I was having an especially bad day a bit ago and when I accidently came across SUNKISSED I lit right up and start poking buttons, you may have done some major damage to my budget, but you definitely lifted my spirits. Thank you to all 3 of you for your designs and inspiration.
Cheryl

Love all your fabrics, patterns and most especially the bag that is authentic...that is my word for the year...I think it is destiny that I will win. If not it sure won't stop me from living out that word. It has such meaning for me. Can't wait to make a baby quilt using pure. I'm off to find some of that fabric tomorrow. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

Ever since I saw my first glimpse of Sunkissed, I've been drooling over it! Can't wait to get some. One of the prints that jumps out at me is the one with the pale grey swirls -- so fabulous for a background fabric, much better than white on white! And the colors in the collection are wonderful....so fresh. Thanks for the chance to win!

I definitely love your fabrics! I have a lot of Authentic, couldn't resist when it came on the scene. As for the country cookbook by Farm Journal, I have a few of their cookbooks (and I am definitely way older than you! I had 3 daughters when I bought them! :) Those recipes are sooooo delicious! It's great that you have shared a really good one here for the oatmeal cake. Yum!

I love your fabrics and your aesthetic. They just speak to me...and not just because they have words. ;)

I already have cute projects picked out for some of the sunkissed fabrics! SOOO cute!! I love your blog.

I love all your lines of fabric but my absolute favorite is Authentic...wish I had bought more of it 'cause I don't want to cut into my stash! Thanks for the recipe...I'm going to try it out this weekend.

It is such a hard choice to pick a favourite - I think it is a tie between Pure (as I'm quite partial to chocolates browns) and Sunkissed (which is so bright and happy)

I just want to hold those fabrics - they look so beautiful. Your quilt designs are fresh and original.

Such a gorgeous prize thank you so much for your beautiful patterns and fabrics.

LOVE you guys!! BUT, can you do me a favor?? Next Quilt market... if they have a southern accent and say they are from SC, NC (I'm still trying to get to GA) tell them to buy your lines!!!! I want to go and touch Sunkissed. I think it is the cutest line you have done. For some strange reason they don't buy a lot of Moda here - is there such a thing?? I want my precuts!!! Anyhow, did I say I LOVE your lines!??!! Congratulations on the book!!
