To celebrate the new year, we are giving away this framed 2010 wallhanging. To enter, let us know what resolutions you are making this year- or let us know if you don't make them at all. As for me, I don't make them. Nothing against a resolution, but I figure I can't disappoint myself if I don't make one in the first place!
We are starting our Valentine feature on Monday. Just like our "Twelve Days of Christmas", we will have a new kit each day that you can purchase on our Etsy site.
We will announce the winner of our 2010 contest on Wednesday. Good Luck and see you Monday!

I don't normally make resolutions, but for some reason this year have a long list of improvements I want to make. Journaling is probably the one that will be the hardest to keep, but will mean the most to me later!

I always seem to break my resolutions every year, so I, like so many others, am setting goals for 2010.
I would like to get to my goal weight by summer time. I would like to complete my online photography class I couldn't finish last year. I am going to make sure we have lots of family time this year. Etc. Simple goals....and to try and simplify our lives!
Thanks for a fun giveaway!

I don't usually make them. I have ideas of things I want to do, but I never turn it into a resolution.
Posted by: Jacy | Tuesday, January 05, 2010 at 10:52 AM
I'm trying to keep my resolutions easy this year with just two words - joy and hope. Two goals to try to work into our daily life. You can't have one without the other. We're going to put those words throughout our home as a reminder of what we're aiming for.

Hi! I've decided to be more charitable this year. I'll be doing that by being less quick to judge, more likely to give others the benefit of the doubt and just plain trying to look for give of myself. Thanks!

No resolutions here either, just trying to do my best at all I put my head to. I resolve to do that for the rest of my life actually. :) Great plaque, crossing my fingers for a win :)

I usually try not to make resolutions, just for the fact that I don't always keep them. However, I watched a show today that really wrenched at my heart, so for 2010 I want to just make the most of each day. Take the time for the simple things in life & just be HAPPY! I have so many things to be thankful for, and that's what I am going to focus on.

I like to make resolutions, they help me stay focused. This year, I want to try to sew up one new idea a month. My lack of creativity is killing me. Here's to a new year and another chance!

I don't make resolutions either! I just try and take one day at a time...with three kids and a husband in Iraq, it is one day at a time in our house! Love the "2010," it's super cute!

I have resolved to be kinder and more understanding of others. Life is going to be about doing for others. I know that 2010 will be a great year. Praise the Lord!!

No new year resolutions here either. Though I did tell hubby that after the holidays we were going to be eating and living healthier...less rich, fatty foods (we don't say 'diet' either) and more physical activity. So does that count as a resolution?
Posted by: Iva | Monday, January 04, 2010 at 07:08 AM
I guess I'm with you. I don't make resolutions. I just live each day as it comes and if I need to work on something, I do, instead of waiting for a new year to come along to get started.
WEll, heres to a great year ahead!!

This year I am finally starting my own pattern design business which I have been dreaming about forever (it seems). I am currently working on an awesome beach bag using Make Life and my dream is to see my bags on our beach (Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia) - I would love to look at the 2010 sign to inspire me to keep creating and designing. Thanks for all your inspiration this last year and I'll be stopping by often - I love your style.

No more "stuff" coming into the house until I've dealt with whatever's already cluttering up our home!

I dont really ever make resolutions. I try and set a small goal but after a week or two I aways mess up. So my life long resolution is to be a better person.
Very CUTE sign!

Yay to 2010! I lost 55 pounds last year and I'm now going to work on the exercise component of losing the weight because I so do not want to put the weight back on! The other new years resolution is to use more of my stash and quilt more!

I don't make resolutions but I would like to spend more time doing things I enjoy this year, like sewing and crafting!
Posted by: Heather McCurley | Sunday, January 03, 2010 at 09:54 PM
I also don't usually make major resolutions. I have noticed over the past few years, when I made resolutions, they always ended up being the same things.
So as I thought of what I would do this year, I decided there are a few things I could be better at. Try to relax a little more...you know, don't stress about as much in life. Have fun with my little girl and husband. Live healthy. Challenge myself to find new and different things to learn to do...and do them {as often as possible}! Organize! Basically, just do everything I should already be doing! I hope that 2010 is a great year...and that I do my best at my improvements! {I guess those end up being resolutions anyway, I just like the sound of improvements better!}
As for the A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. 2010 sign...if I would love to hang that up in my home. And if not, then I might have to make something like that...if my other improvements are done FIRST of course!

I want to sew or craft every day and complete 100 items. With 1 grandson 6 months old and 1 granddaughter on the way it should be easy, right?
Posted by: Janet Langley | Sunday, January 03, 2010 at 09:12 PM
My resolution is to finally make a quilt all by myself. Last year I attend my first quilt class ever and if you know me, I don’t even know how to sew a button, but after some sweat and hard work… and 6 weeks later I actually finished it. So my goals is to start a quilt and finish it all by myself using your new quilt fabric Make Life… which I am in love with. I just need to decide which pattern to use now.

I generally don't make resolutions, because really they're always the same. Eat healthier, exercise more, be more mindful. Instead I just try to think of the new year as another opportunity to improve a little more.

No resolutions. Just to make it through & hopefully thrive in the New Year.
